2 terrorists killed in encounter with security forces in J&K’s Anantnag

Two terrorists were gunned down by security forces during an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday. The gunbattle broke out after security forces imitated an anti-terrorist operation in the area. This came hours after a similar encounter broke out in Srinagar’s Khanyar area.

Security forces launched the operation after receiving the input that some terrorists were hiding in the area.

This marks the fourth terrorist-related incident in the Kashmir valley since Friday. Two migrant workers from Uttar Pradesh were shot in Budgam district on Friday. Both sustained injuries during the attack and have been shifted to JVC Hospital Bemina in Srinagar, where they are receiving treatment.3
